Old Hickory Water Storm Damage
The falling tree opened up the roof and allowed in a significant amount of rainwater. The storm was short-lived, but the results were not. Our SERVPRO of Wilson County team members responded quickly to this emergency. We covered up the exposed roof area with tarps and proceeded to eliminate the ceiling drywall and insulation quickly to mitigate on-going water damage. We dried out the ducts and sanitized them to inhibit any fungal growth from developing. The use of air movers and dehumidifiers purged the remaining moisture from the rooms in preparation to restore the damages to pre-loss condition. In about a week we had the structure restored "Like it never even happened."
