Water and Mold Damage Remediation to a Lebanon Home Crawl Space

The standing water in this Lebanon crawl space was discovered after the extensive damage had occurred to the building elements. The saturated fiberglass batten insulation was contaminated from the water and the proliferation of mold colonies. Our SERVPRO remediation technicians discarded the fungi infested material even as water was being pumped out of the water damaged area. The pressurized CO2 pellets rasped the mold growth as depicted on the joists and subflooring and left behind almost new looking timber. After the cleanup of the mold debris, our technicians dried out the soil and cinder block piers using air movers and LGR (Low Grain Refrigerated) and gel dehumidifiers to capture the lingering moisture within the crawl space. We verified the return to standard moisture levels with the use of thermal hygrometers, moisture sensors, and infrared cameras. Fogging coated all the cellulose materials with an anti-fungal and anti-microbial agent for disinfecting and sanitizing the now remediated water and mold damaged area. A new vapor barrier, the black poly sheeting, covered the soil to inhibit the penetration of moisture and insects. Call SERVPRO of Wilson County for mold remediation in your Lebanon area property.
